The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, confirmed that Azercosmos and Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) are in an ongoing discussion regarding potential space cooperation, Trend reports. “Currently, the potential for collaboration in the space industry between countries is being studied,” Rashad Nabiyev commented.

Furthermore, the minister emphasised that the ongoing discussions between Azercosmos and EgSA serve as a notable complement to the preexisting agreements involving certain Egyptian companies in utilising Azerbaijan’s satellite capabilities.

Thus, the agreements between Azerbaijan and Egyptian companies regarding developing their satellite potential show a growing interest in satellite technology and its commercial applications. The ongoing talks could lead to establishing new satellite-related ventures, driving both nations’ economic growth and innovation in the satellite industry.
